May 5, 2006 Light rail train slightly involved in unusual accident

(5/05/06 - KTRK/HOUSTON) - There was a bizarre accident involving a pedestrian near downtown Houston Friday morning. METRO's light rail was involved, but the train didn't hit anyone. The collision happened on Main near McGowen. Police say a passenger jumped off the train into the path of an oncoming car and got hit. The passenger was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Police don't know why the passenger jumped off the train.
